Martyr Soleimani brought durability and dignity to Iran: Culture minister
Addressing the audience gathered at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall for a concert dubbed “Man of Iran” to honor Martyr Soleimani with symphonic tribute, Salehi stated that one can talk for hours on the people who sacrificed their lives for Iran.
According to him, there are many factors involved in the country’s durability and dignity, and one of them is the figures such as General Soleimani, General Mohammad Bagheri, General Rashid, and many others who played their role in defending Iran throughout various historical periods.
General Soleimani’s daughter, Zeinab Soleimani, also delivered a speech at the ceremony, stressing the need for the introduction of national heroes and legends to future generations.
Commending artistic and cultural activities to remember Martyr Soleimani, she said the initiative to introduce this personality through these mediums penetrates the hearts and spirit of the society.
She referred to inscription “Soldier Qassem Soleimani” on the tomb of the late general, saying he never sought a rank, title, or position, but considered himself a soldier of the homeland.
Tuesday’s event was organized jointly by the Foundation for Preserving and Publishing the Works of Martyr Soleimani and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance to revisit the enduring legacy of a national figure.
